Shri Dauji Maharaj Temple Hathras

Shri Dauji Maharaj Temple is a famous temple of Hathras. This temple is located near the district court in Hathras. You can easily go to this temple. This temple is very ancient. This temple is very well built.

This temple is dedicated to Dauji Maharaj and Revati Mata. Revati Mata was the wife of Dauji Maharaj. Here the Hathras Fort can be seen which is very attractive. This temple has been preserved by the Archaeological Department.

Hathras fort was built in 1775 by Raja Dayaram. The peak of this temple is about 100 feet high and during the British rule, an attempt was made to demolish this temple, as a result of which an attempt was made to blow up the temple with a cannon but nothing happened to the temple. The marks of cannon balls can still be seen around the temple.

Dauji Lakkhi Mela is organized every year in this temple. This fair is very famous in Hathras and surrounding areas. This fair is operated by UP Government. Dangal and other wonderful things are displayed in this fair.
